HISTORY
In a short span of time, Siteworx Survey & Design, LLC, has become a well-respected firm that offers the comprehensive list of services needed for site development.
Jason Goins, principal engineer, and Herb Simmons, professional land surveyor, established Siteworx in Paducah, Kentucky, in 2008. At the time, they both had at least a decade of experience in their respective fields, and their skills helped form a well-balanced partnership; Jason’s strengths as an engineer complemented Herb’s expertise in land surveying.
Jason and Herb operated for several years as a two-man team. However, Siteworx began working on more projects, and the partners needed to expand so they could better serve their growing client list. In 2013, they hired a few employees, and in the spring of 2014, they acquired VL Associates, a surveying firm in Murray, Kentucky. That fall, they also acquired FMT Engineers, Inc., a well-established Paducah firm. The move gave them a bigger staff and helped create a partner company that could offer mechanical and electrical engineering to customers.
The co-owners also had grown out of their first office space long before the FMT partnership, but after they closed that deal, Jason and Herb moved their operation to the old FMT offices at 124 South 31st Street in Paducah. That’s where they run Siteworx today.
Since 2008, Siteworx Survey & Design has grown into a firm that employs several professional engineers and land surveyors. Its engineers are licensed to operate in six states, and the firm serves at least 50 clients at a time.
Jason and Herb are proud of the company they’ve built. Siteworx is now a successful business that offers nearly any service you might need to prepare your property for construction, and the experts on its staff are ready to put their skill and experience to work for you.
